Farzana finished her B.Sc (in physics) in 2000 from Jawaher Lal Nehru Rajkiya Mahavidyalaya (Pondicherry University), Port Blair, Andaman, India. She then went on to do her B.Ed. (teaching of physical science and mathematics) in 2001, at Tagore Govt. College of Education, Port Blair, Andaman, India. Upon completion, Farzana finshed her M.Sc. (physics) in 2003, from Central University of Hyderabad, Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, India. Presently, she is working with Dr.Heinz Nakotte and simultaneously doing her course-work.
