Bharat came to NMSU in Fall 2004 and joined the Department of Physics in Spring 2005. He did his B. Tech (equivalent to B. S.) in Electronics & Communications Engineering (ECE) from REC Calicut (now NIT Calicut), India. After receiving his degree, he worked for 2 years years, first as an Instrumentation Engineer and later as DSP Engineer. Bharat is currently pursuing and MS in EE (VLSI) & a Ph.D. in Materials Physics with Dr. Vasiliev.
